Romina Yosofi-Khafi is an educator and youth empowerment advocate whose work is centered on advancing practical education, self-awareness, and human development. In 2019, she was admitted to the Sharia Faculty at Herat University—an academic path that shaped her analytical perspective on human values, ethics, and the transformative role of education in society, forming the foundation of her practical work.
With a strong focus on accessible and applicable education, Romina has designed and delivered a range of seminars, workshops, and training programs, both online and in person. A significant portion of these initiatives has been conducted free of charge, aiming to reduce barriers to education, particularly for young people. Her programs focus on areas such as personal growth, decision-making, habit formation, effective thinking, and life skills, enabling participants to achieve meaningful and practical development across personal, academic, professional, social, and spiritual dimensions.
Her continuous engagement in leadership and management programs, scientific forums, and professional webinars has strengthened her ability to bridge theory with practice, allowing her to deliver education that is both relevant and impactful.
Alongside her educational work, Romina is the founder of “Sham-e Noor”, a handmade candle brand based in Herat, Afghanistan. This initiative reflects her entrepreneurial mindset and creative vision, combining economic empowerment with skill development. Beyond production, it serves as a platform for practical learning, income generation, and active youth engagement. In parallel, she is an active and contributing member of the Nuristani woodcarving team “Bamdad”, where she supports the growth of artistic initiatives and the creation of creative opportunities for young people.
Romina is also the author of the article “The Power of Women’s Leadership: A Driving Force of the World”, in which she explores the influential role of women’s leadership in shaping societies and driving sustainable transformation. Her writing focuses on education, human development, and the evolving role of youth in building the future.
Through these experiences, she has developed a strong set of practical competencies, including proficiency in Persian and English, working knowledge of Arabic and Pashto, expertise in educational content design and delivery, effective use of digital tools, and the ability to create collaborative, empathy-driven learning environments. Her approach combines analytical thinking, practical execution, and social commitment—enabling her to turn ideas into action and education into impact.
Romina’s professional vision is to expand her work on an international level and contribute meaningfully to education, human development, and youth empowerment initiatives—particularly by creating sustainable learning opportunities and supporting communities in need of transformative education.
