Afghan Education Ambassador l Mr. Mehdi Shojaei

Mehdi Shojaei is a mathematics lecturer and researcher with more than four years of experience in higher education. He currently serves as a full-time lecturer at Hariwa University, where he is engaged in undergraduate teaching, academic mentoring, curriculum development, and quality enhancement activities.

He teaches a variety of mathematics courses, including Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability, and Statistics, with a focus on developing students’ analytical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. He has also served as a lecturer at Herat University, where he delivered advanced mathematics courses such as Differential Equations, Real and Complex Analysis, Number Theory, Analytical Geometry, and Statistics.

Mr. Shojaei holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Herat University, where he graduated with outstanding academic performance. His research interests include differential equations, mathematical modeling, applied mathematics, mathematics education, and quantitative research methods. He has contributed to academic research through scientific publications and the development of educational materials in mathematics.

In addition to his teaching and research activities, he has been involved in academic administration, student supervision, faculty capacity-building programs, and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of higher education. His professional expertise includes curriculum design, research methodology, statistical analysis, academic reporting, monitoring and evaluation, and the application of digital technologies in education.

Mr. Shojaei is committed to promoting excellence in mathematics education, supporting students’ academic growth, and contributing to research that connects mathematical theories with real-world applications.
