A Story of Today

Every morning when I wake up, my heart trembles—
What if this is the last sunrise I ever see?
I’ve learned that life does not wait.
Today won’t be like yesterday,
And tomorrow may never repeat today.

Sometimes we think we have time,
That there’s always a chance—
“I’ll do it tomorrow,” we say…
But we don’t know—
Maybe tomorrow will never come,
Or if it does, we may no longer be the same person we are today.

Life is this very moment,
This breath,
This short glance at the sky.
We must learn to value every second.
To bring joy to someone’s heart,
To offer a smile,
To be kind,
To build a path—
Even if it’s a short one.

Today is a gift—
One we may regret losing tomorrow.
So live… don’t just survive.
